Book: Beyond all Dreams
Author: Elizabeth Camden
Publisher: Bethany House
Publishing Date: January 6, 2015
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley.com in exchange for an honest review.
My interest in this book is: There is nothing that would keep me from reading an Elizabeth Camden book.
Type of Book: Historical Fiction, Washington DC 1897 (Spanish American War—for you history lovers).
Ideas / message / plot: Forgiveness; recognizing your strength in how God wired you.
Favorite characters, quotes / lines: The scene where the Lead characters first meet is by far my favorite—classic Camden wit. “When she returned to her seat and looked at him with a combination of intelligent humor and good-natured challenge, he was poleaxed.”
When I finished this book I felt: *sigh*. When I pick up a Camden book, it is truly a reflection of history brought to life.
Other books to read by this Author or theme: Just click on the link above to see all of Camden’s works on Amazon. I have enjoyed them all—though I’m still taken with her debut The Lady of Bolton Hill.
Overall: If you enjoy history wrapped up in a captivating story, spiced with loving romance and characters you wish you could meet, this author is for you.
A full 5-stars and will most definitely grace my bookshelves.
