My interest in these books:  MaryLu has such an INCREDIBLE way of taking you through  a moment of history with adventure, love, and God. Her tag line: "Swashbuckling Romances Anchored in Faith."

Ideas expressed in this book: MaryLu has such a passion to "write page-turning, romantic adventures that not only entertain but open people's eyes to their God-given potential" and that flows through every time she puts pen to paper. You are important to God! You have purpose!

Favorite characters, quotes/lines: The leads in each book are fantastic. I read this series 2 years ago and the characters that have stuck with me the entire time are Marianne and Noah (book 1 Leads), Rose and Alex (book 2 Leads), and Luke Heaton. Book 2 is my favorite...I think. 

When I finished each book: I was ready for more! Each book has such a solid storyline that carries you with passion and purpose. 

Overall: This is a series I suggest you put on your Christmas list! (Did I just go there? Oh yes! It's never too early for Christmas lists.) Have you created your Amazon Wishlist yet? It is so handy for passing on those must read suggestions to family and friends.

Is this series bookshelf worthy? You bet! They already sit on mine. :)
